Your cycles are irregular.
Your labs are "normal."
You know something is off.

I help women identify and address the root causes of ovulation problems — so you can stop guessing and start making real progress toward pregnancy.

"My husband and I had decided to begin IVF. But then my period didn't come, and I am happy to report I'm now into my 2nd trimester!"
— Katy B., Kelli OBrien Nutrition client

You've been trying.
You're not getting answers.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place:

  • Your cycles are long, irregular, or missing — and no one has explained why
  • You're tracking your cycle but can't confirm you're actually ovulating
  • You have a PCOS diagnosis and don't know what to actually do about it
  • You've had a loss and want to do everything you can to support the next pregnancy
  • You're doing all the "right things" — prenatal, clean eating, managing stress — and still not seeing results
  • Your doctor says your labs are normal, but something clearly isn't

The problem usually isn't effort. It's that no one has looked at the full picture — your cycle data, your labs, and your nutrition — together.

Ovulation problems aren't random.
They have root causes.

In my clinical experience, most ovulatory dysfunction traces back to three interconnected systems. When these are off, your body doesn't have the hormonal environment it needs to consistently release an egg — no matter how many supplements you take.

01

Blood Sugar

Unstable glucose and insulin resistance are among the most common — and most overlooked — drivers of irregular cycles.

02

Cortisol

Chronic stress signals suppress the LH surge required for ovulation. Your body treats fertility as optional when it's in survival mode.

03

Progesterone

Low progesterone after ovulation means the luteal phase can't support implantation — even when an egg is released.

This is the framework behind everything I do. It's not a generic "eat more leafy greens" approach — it's a targeted, data-driven strategy built around your specific cycle, your labs, and your body.

I've been where you are.

I'm Kelli O'Brien — a Licensed Dietitian and Certified Nutrition Specialist specializing in fertility nutrition. I've spent years working with women whose cycles don't make sense, whose doctors say everything looks fine, and who feel like they're running out of time and options.

I also have PCOS. I know firsthand what it's like to navigate hormonal chaos, restrictive eating patterns, and the exhausting loop of trying to figure out what your body actually needs.

Functional nutrition changed how I understood my own body — and it's the foundation of everything I do with clients. My approach is clinical and data-driven, but it's also practical and built for real life. We work from your labs, your cycle data, and your actual day-to-day — not a generic template.
